Bora For Juan ? It’s BORAWAN Island !

Another white sand island for the beach bum and campers .This is a place for you!  Forget the busy nightlife  like in Boracay because the ambiance of this place will take you to your inner peace ! Well simple as taking  your perfect time to rest and forget about worries you left behind!

How to get there?

1. For commuters take  a bus to Lucena Grand Terminal. Travel time is around 4-5 hours.

2.From Lucena Grand Terminal, take another bus heading to Unisan. Look for Brgy. Marao or Brgy. Basiao in the town of Padre Burgos. Will take you approximately 1.5 hours.

3.Take a boat to Borawan Island. From Brgy. Marao or Brgy. Basiao, rent a boat to the island. There are a lot of resorts that offer boat service to the island. Use your talent to haggle with boatmen since prices may vary and there were no fix charges.

Private  transportation: Take SLEX. Exit at Sto.Tomas then head right. Follow the Pan-Philippine Highway passing by the cities of San Pablo, Tiaong, Candelaria and Sariaya until you reach Lucena. From Lucena City, continue to Pan-Philippine Highway passing by the town of Pagbilao until you reach a fork with road signs to Old Zigzag Road (Left) and Padre Burgos (Right). Head right to Padre Burgos until you reach Brgy. Marao or Brgy. Basiao. From there, rent a boat to Borawan Island. There are safe parking spaces in town, just talk to your boatman and they will  help and assist you.

Where to stay?
Well  ready your tent because ther are no other place to stay  since  no hotel in the island they have  only kubo or  open cottage.  You can rent a tent for a day or overnight as your choice.
Good news ! there are accessible shower rooms and toilet. For food incase you need to add more there is a sari sari store  though prices are quite high.

What to explore ?

- Lukang Cove
- Kwebang Lampad
- Dampalitan island

Reminders:

1. Better to bring more baon and cook there
2. Don't 4 get your butane stove and cooking equipment
3. Set up your tent not so near at the shore since  It’s high tide in the morning
